Access Logs

Would really like daily access logs (zipped) as well as a monthly log (zipped). Dont need to be emailed. Can be in a folder on the server to be downloaded.

Deleting the previous month's logs on 1st of the month is a very unusual procedure which I have never seen in other hosts. very much an outlier.

This was particularly highlighted when there was a incident on the last day of the month but I could not investigate it in the logs the following morning as the logs had already been deleted.

That is not good enough.
