Exclude folders or files from the standard backups

Apparently, we can't figure out that I don't need a running backup of the staging site, and it isn't possible to choose to exclude it from the normal backups, so it maxes out my disk space, and I end up having to remove valid backups of my actual site. Very frustrating.
