Folder Access Protection in File Manager
I have identified an important security concern that I would like to clarify and suggest a possible solution.
As website owners, some of us are not technically experienced in web development or server software installation. Therefore, we need to hire developers to install and configure our websites and applications. In some cases, the developer needs to log in to sPanel to perform these tasks.
However, when a developer has access to sPanel, they may also have access to File Manager → public_html, including the folders containing our other websites.
Our websites are hosted in separate subfolders (subdirectories) under public_html. As the server owner, I do not want a hired developer working on one website to have access to the files of our other websites.
Suggested Security Feature
I would like to strongly suggest having a way to password-protect or restrict access to individual folders inside public_html through File Manager, so that each website folder can have its own access protection.
Ideally, we would like to give a developer access only to the specific website folder they are working on, without giving them access to our other website folders.
Could you please advise whether this is currently possible in sPanel/ScalaHosting, and if so, what is the recommended and most secure way to configure it?

Dear Renard!
The best and the most appropriate way to handle this is to have each website run in its own account in SPanel. Nothing else will provide complete isolation between websites.
