Forward Domain Automation (Auto-Subdomain, Auto-Redirect & Auto-DNS Creation)

I would like to request a new feature in sPanel that allows automated creation and management of Forward Domains, similar to how 'some others' ( I don't want to advertise them :D )  handles domain forwarding.

Current behavior:

To forward a subdomain (e.g. sub.domain.com → https://target.com/page.php):

• You must manually create a subdomain.

• Then you must manually upload an .htaccess file with a RewriteRule (or use Redirect feature)

• Add manually DNS entries

• For large setups (100–300+ forwards), this becomes extremely time-consuming.

• There is no GUI for managing forwards, only manual configuration steps.

Requested behavior:

Add a Forward Domain feature in sPanel that allows users to:

• Enter:
  source: sub.domain.com
  target: https://other-domain.com/page
  type: Permanent (301) / Temporary (302)

sPanel would then automatically:

1. Create a subdomain

2. Create all necessary DNS A/CNAME records

3. Generate the vhost configuration

4. Create the .htaccess redirect file automatically

5. List all forwards in a GUI, similar to existing DNS and Subdomains pages

6. Allow bulk import/export (TXT, CSV)

Essentially, the system should fully automate what now requires multiple manual steps.

Why this is important:

• Enables migration of domains from providers like ****** without re-creating hundreds of subdomains manually.

• Saves a massive amount of time for admins managing 50–500 domain forwards.

• Reduces user error when manually writing DNS records or htaccess rules.

• Greatly improves quality of life for agencies and resellers using sPanel.

• Makes sPanel a more complete hosting control panel for users who rely heavily on domain selling.

• Provides a clean, intuitive GUI instead of relying on CLI scripts and manual redirects.

Example use-case:

A client has:

• 300+ DNS A records

• 300+ domain forwards like:
  shop.domain.com → https://store.com/shop
blog.domain.com → https://medium.com/myblog
maps.domain.com → https://maps.google.com/?q=office

Instead of creating 300 subdomains manually and adding 300 .htaccess rules, sPanel would handle all of this automatically with a single import or a few clicks.

Summary:

This feature would streamline complex domain forwarding setups and bring sPanel closer to the forwarding tools offered by major registrars like ******. It would be extremely valuable for hosting providers managing large DNS zones with many redirects.
