Considering the fact that in November 2019, we exhausted our remaining IPv4 pool, this topic shouldn't even be up for voting/discussion... It's a must and an urgent necessity!
Many popular web hosts (like Hetzner), are now offering IPv6 options for their services.
So please, don't just expect this to be voted, make it a high priority on your dev list.
SPanel now supports servers with a dual IP stack (an IPv4 and an IPv6 address). All services now listen on both IPv4 and IPv6, and SPanel may issue Let's encrypt certificates for domains/subdomains which resolve to the IPv6 address.
The DNS Manager supports IPv6 (AAAA records) too.
The IPv6 adoption is not yet where it has to be. There isn't a fixed date yet when IPv4 will be disabled worldwide. It will take many more years before IPv4 is brought offline.
If you have a server with IPv6, please know that you can manually point the domains/subdomains to IPv6 addresses via the DNS Manager and they will operate normally in SPanel meaning all services will function on IPv6 in the same way as they function on IPv4.
We'll continue working on making the IPv6 fully supported so that in the future you will also have an option to automatically generate all relevant IPv6 records for all your domains/subdomains on the SPanel server so that you are fully ready for a complete switch to IPv6.
SPanel now has all services configured to support IPv6 plus issuing Let's encrypt certificates for domains/subdomains which resolve to IPv6 addresses. The DNS zone editor also supports AAAA (IPv6 A records) DNS records.
It will take some more years until IPv6 can be reliably used in website hosting since the adoption is still under 50% worldwide.

Thanks!
The roadmap has been updated to include the implementation of IPv6 support.

It seems this request status could change to In Progress, since it's partially built out.
Thanks, Deep Roots Marketing!
