While Rocky is not a bad free options, many clients, especially those from the corporate world, want a true enterprise linux option. RedHat Enterprise was the goto for many years, but its support has gone downhill greatly and there is no option to use a free version of Redhat that is easily upgraded to enterprise now that Centos is dead.

Implementing Oracle 9 support, would allow the world a free option, with the simple option of converting to Oracle 9 Enterprise with a single command line via SSH.

This would also allow hosting companies to simply by offering both clients the same OS.

Rocky Linux 9 is working pretty well for people all over the world. If the demand arises for Oracle 9, we'll gladly add it as a supported operating system.
