create by default a hostname ssl

Afer an installation i would expect the hostname of the server to get an SSL so the control-panel can be accessed over this url, this seems not to be the case, nor is there an option to configure SSL from the admin area either. While support is fast with setting this up, would love to make it easier/faster by automatically generating the ssl for the hostname isn't it ?
